How Czech night clubs work
Clubs differ in style far more than in structure. Some are loud strip bars with a stage and a pole, some are quiet lounges with a handful of hostesses at the bar, and a few are large houses with several floors. The way the money moves is similar everywhere.
Entry is often free or modest. The bar is where a club earns.
Hostess drinks, the ones you buy for a dancer or hostess, are priced well above your own. Ask for the price list before you say yes to the first one.
Private dances are sold per song or per block of time. Agree the length and the price before it starts.

Border clubs for visitors from Germany and Austria

For thirty years the western and northern border towns have drawn drivers from Bavaria and Saxony, and the scene has changed a great deal. The roadside trade on the E55 near Dubí, notorious in the nineties, has faded, as E15 reported, and towns such as Cheb have fined both sides of a deal made on the street. What remains are a few clubs a short drive from the border crossings.
Two rules matter more here than anywhere. Czech law allows no alcohol at all for drivers, so the person at the wheel does not drink, full stop. And if a club accepts euros, check the rate it applies before you pay; crowns are usually the better deal.

Swinger clubs outside Prague
